How Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective runs
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective plays on the iPhone. Its Packed app came to about 3 GB when the project developers last published sizes. It runs at 60 fps, as on the Switch.
How it runs
On the Mac, from a fresh save, it was tested through the opening movies, the language screen, the first-boot notices, save creation and the opening of Chapter 1 in the junkyard: the Ghost World, moving between objects and the first trick. A second launch loaded that save and reached the title menu. Memory stayed at about 2.3 GB and flat. An early iPhone build logged the same opening at 60 fps.
Controls
The Packed app starts in the 2D touch layout (left stick, face buttons, shoulders, minus and plus). The layout button at the top centre switches layouts in game, and the app remembers your choice. In the Ghost World, hold the D-pad or left stick to stretch toward the next object, and press A to perform a trick.
Good to know
- Tested on the base game, version 1.0.0, with the Bonus Content add-on (songs and backgrounds).
- The chapter autosave was not reached in testing, so saving later in the story is untested.

Packing command
Run this in your nxnative folder on the Build Mac. Replace the game folder and the keys path with your own. Add --platform mac-app to get a Mac app instead of an iPhone and iPad app.

Packing needs a Mac with macOS 26.6 or later and Xcode 27.1.
