How Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition runs
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition plays on the iPhone. Its Packed app came to about 5 GB when the project developers last published sizes. It is one of the few tested Games that draw with OpenGL rather than Nintendo's own graphics API; nxnative translates those calls to Apple's Metal.
How it runs
On the Mac, it was tested through the logos and title, the opening story choice, the EDEN chat opening with its movies and real-time scenes, character creation and the login, then the flight into EDEN and a walk around its entrance plaza, with sound and no errors logged. The menus run at 60 fps and the story at 30, which are the game's own rates. Memory use stayed at about 0.95 GB, flat over half an hour.
Controls
The Packed app starts in the 2D touch layout (left stick, face buttons, shoulders, minus and plus). The layout button at the top centre switches layouts in game, and the app remembers your choice.
