How Cult of the Lamb runs
Cult of the Lamb plays on the Mac at 60 fps, as on the Switch. Tested through the publisher logo, the title screen, the intro movie, a new save, the opening walk to the bishops, the sacrifice, The One Who Waits and his offer, and the first fight. No iPhone app has been built yet.
How it runs
With its first memory settings, the game showed only a blank cream title screen and then crashed when the intro movie started: the Unity engine ran out of room to place its memory. nxnative now changes the game's memory layout, and the title, the movie and the opening now run normally. Sound played without dropouts, and memory came to about 2.7 GB in the first fight.
Bring update 1.5.28
Tested with update 1.5.28, which the game's menu shows as 1.5.27. Put it in the same folder as the base game before you Pack. The add-on content packages are licences only, and their content has not been checked.
Controls
The Packed app starts in the 2D touch layout. In the first fight, Y attacks and B dodges. Hold B to skip the intro movie.
Good to know
- In the opening the game waits without a prompt until the lamb steps onto the pentagram.
- The cult base, saving and continuing, and later play have not been checked.
Known issues
- It has not been tried on iPhone, and no iPhone app has been built.
Packing command
Run this in your nxnative folder on the Build Mac. Replace the game folder and the keys path with your own. Add --platform mac-app to get a Mac app instead of an iPhone and iPad app.

Yes. Cult of the Lamb is tested with nxnative on update 1.5.28.
Which iPhone, iPad or Mac do I need to play Cult of the Lamb?
An iPhone 15 Pro or newer (A17 Pro chip or later) or an iPad with an M1 chip or later, on iOS or iPadOS 26 or later, or a Mac with Apple silicon. iPads with the A17 Pro chip (iPad mini) have the iPhone 15 Pro's chip but are untested by nxnative. Packing needs a Mac with macOS 26.6 or later and Xcode 27.1.
Is Cult of the Lamb included?
No. Neither this site nor nxnative includes any game. You Pack Cult of the Lamb from your own copy of the game, with keys dumped from your own Switch.
Does online play work in Cult of the Lamb?
Online play in Cult of the Lamb is not confirmed to work, so do not count on it.
