DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake and Xcode 27.2

DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake now runs on the Mac, packing needs Xcode 27.2, and Mac apps go full screen when opened from a full-screen app.

DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake runs on the Mac with update 1.0.2. Both games in the collection start a new adventure log and continue from their autosave: DRAGON QUEST I up to free movement in Tantegel Castle, DRAGON QUEST II through its opening to Midenhall and out to the town's south gate. It has not been played on iPhone or iPad yet, and battles are untested.

That makes 116 tested Games.

Packing now needs Xcode 27.2 instead of 27.1, because the shaders are built with its Metal compiler. Select it with sudo xcode-select -s /Applications/Xcode.app, or, with several Xcode versions installed, name it Xcode-27.2.app and select that. See Requirements.

A Mac app opened from another app in full screen now goes full screen itself instead of staying a window.

nxnative now prepares its own small shaders when you Pack, instead of compiling them the first time they are needed. On an iPhone 17 Pro Max this removes a stall of about 0.1 seconds in Animal Crossing: New Horizons when a new room first appeared.

A movie's sound no longer stops for good after the movie loops or is skipped through, as happened with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's opening movie. The fix has not yet been confirmed on the iPhone where it was reported.
